DHS approves MnSLFF activities.....
The commissioner for the State of Minnesota Department of Human Services approved Sri Lanka Tsunami Relief Fund raising activities within the department. Minnesota Association of Professional Employees (MAPE) DHS chapter coordinated the activities. Immediately after tsunami hit Sri Lanka on December 26, 2004 the first donation to the MnSLFF came from an employee of DHS.

Spring Celebration.......
Apple Valley Foundation invited MnSLFF members to participate in the Annual Spring Celebration festival at Apple Valley Zoo. Mr. David Gaskill the chairman of Apple Valley Foundation joined MnSLFF members Jayantha, Lal, Mithula, Nevanka Udi and Viranga in the event.
