March 14, 2005 During my second visit I met Mr. Jayasundara, he was in charge of allocating lands for donors (one of among many other jobs) He is an extremely busy gentleman with a dedicated staff. I was amazed with their commitment and hard work in a such a chaotic environment. This division was overwhelmed with tsunami reconstruction work. The staff was never trained to handle a disaster of such a magnitude. They were to support building over 60,000 houses within a limited time period, acquire land and assist with all other construction and planning work on top of their routine work. admin@mnslff.org |
